The Search Consultant is primarily responsible for the assessment, and development of external candidates. You will engage with prospective candidates to assess them for both competence and cultural fit to our client’s requirements. You manage the candidate experience and ensure that it is a positive one that supports their ambitions. A secondary responsibility will be to partner with our Research team. You will help them to identify candidates within the target pools that are of interest. The Search Consultant will work with clients across multiple countries.
Build actionable research into client companies, competitors and the marketplace.
Develop detailed role criteria, produce position descriptions and detailed search specifications.
Partner with the Research team to identify prospective candidates using a variety of channels.
Engage with prospective candidates and work to ensure a positive candidate experience.
Use robust and systematic methods to assess candidates to ensure qualification match, cultural fit and compatibility with the job requirements.
Own and lead the development and production of a shortlist of candidates which includes detailed profile summaries.
Engage with clients to present candidates’ profiles, manage the client relationship and maintain the project timelines.
Skills and Experience:
5 to 10 years of experience in the delivery of successful searches in a technical or industrial recruitment sector
A deep understanding of recruitment processes.
Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruiting software and candidate databases.
Good knowledge of candidate selection and assessment practices.
Previous experience with candidate sourcing tools and methods.
Proven client relationship experience and focus along with relationship-building skills
Effective negotiation, influencing and communication skills
