The sponsored BatteryMBA place was offered during the Battery Talent Survey 2022 as an incentive and thank-you gift to the hundreds of battery professionals who took the time to respond and share their sentiments. The survey assesses which sentiments and priorities talent in this sector set for joining and remaining with their current employers and allows business and HR leaders to make confident decisions in relation to talent acquisition and retention.
The results will be shared in the Battery Talent Report 2022 shortly by Arvensis.
The chosen scholar, Sweety Khatri, from Cornell University, is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Chemical Engineering. “My thesis research focuses on mitigating the polysulfide shuttle effect in lithium-sulfur batteries by modifying separators through coating a layeer of reduced graphene oxide and conducting polymer”, she explains.
This research is of central importance to the effectiveness and sustainability of lithium-sulfur batteries.
Since there is a well-documented shortage of talent in this sector, Arvensis and Battery Associates aim to support the ongoing development of talent in this market.
We are proud to sponsor young and dedicated talent and wish Sweety Khatri much success in the program.
